Walking on Glass by Iain Banks. Complex and interesting enough to keep me reading but failed to come together enough to satisfy. Three disparate tales told that try to come together in the end. Don't let this stop you reading his other science fiction which is top notch.

Belladonna (Ephemera, Book 2) by Anne Bishop. Not as interesting as I wanted it to be, has a great premise but over explains and makes it more technical than is warrented. I'm reminded of Anne Rice - starts well, finishes in excessive detail.

His Dark Materials trilogy by Philip Pullman which was just as good as the last time I read it. Fabulous fantasy. High quality not quite Young Adult reading.

Doyle threw his first ever hissy fit and there was slightly more plot than last time. Am feeling better about the whole thing.

The LKH is set during the period Anita refused to see either of the boys and tried to learn how to build psychic shields. It's all about the hotness that is Jean-Claude.

Yups, another Anita Blake novel and dripping with my favourite characters, if you're a fan you'll get a lot out of it.
